      <title>Chromecast</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Casting videos and photos from Google photos to Chromecast used to work fine. Now however if I try and cast a video and get one frame of it and it freezes. I have done a reset from Google home on the Chromecast device and I've tried restarting all three devices. This all used to work fine&amp;nbsp; not sure when it stopped as I don't use the service a lot. Anyone else found this problem casting video from Google photos to Chromecast. I am using a second generation Chromecast. Which is the latest version of firmware 1.56.275994. any help greatly appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Thanks for reaching out. What device are you using to cast and view your Google Photos? Since you are also encountering the freezing issue when casting a video, have you checked if this is happening in all Chromecast-enabled apps? Try the additional below:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Disconnect from Chromecast, then recast.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;On the casting device, toggle Wi-Fi off and then on.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Close any resource intensive apps that are open.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Turn off power saving mode.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Decrease the distance between the TV, casting device (phone, tablet, or computer), and Wi-Fi router.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Make sure that the casting device meets the &lt;A href="https://bit.ly/3xX1IaG" target="_blank"&gt;minimum system requirements&lt;/A&gt; to support casting.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Make sure your casting device's OS is updated.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;A href="https://bit.ly/2MrS2BE" target="_blank"&gt;Reboot&lt;/A&gt; your Chromecast again.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Reboot your router.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Reboot your mobile phone.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Use a different mobile device.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Reset your &lt;A href="https://bit.ly/37recMF" target="_blank"&gt;Chromecast&lt;/A&gt; and &lt;A href="https://bit.ly/3aevCOg" target="_blank"&gt;Google Home&lt;/A&gt; again.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;For the Google Photos, please reinstall the app and ask again your Google Home to cast your photos to the TV.&lt;/P&gt;
