Update on Google Home Character Alarm Issue

I have gotten an update on the character alarm issue. Apparently something happened in the last update with Google home and they are working to get it fixed now. We should receive an update within the next week and hopefully it will be fixed.

We would like to check if everyone here is still experiencing any issues with their Google Home's character alarms. Could you please tell us the cast firmware version of your Google Nest speakers?

To check which firmware version you're on, follow these steps:

Make sure your mobile device or tablet is linked to the same account as your speaker or display.
Open the Google Home app .
Touch and hold your device's tile.
At the top right, tap Settings Device information.
Under "Technical information," find Cast firmware: X.XXX.XXXXX.
