Nest Yale Lock - Update?

Are Google/Nest/Yale working on a feature where the lock will detect when I'm home to automate unlocking the door? Maybe some kind of 2-step verification either thru voice or the Home app?

I'm glad that it will automatically lock the door once I'm home but the trouble is having to open and use the app or input the number to unlock the door when trying to get inside my home.

I appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

I've not seen any announcements to that effect. I’d encourage you to also send this feedback directly to Google. You will not receive a response, unless Google need more details from you, however the team are still reading the feedback.

We love that you're interested, but we don't have any news to share about automating the unlocking of Nest × Yale Lock, so please let our product team know about it by sending feedback.
