Nest temperature sensor not working

I am not able to connect my temperature sensor with my thermostat. It worked fine for ~2 months and then the app started reporting connectivity issue. I tried all the instructions to reconnect by removing from the app and removing battery for more than 10min but nothing has resolved the issue.

Due to resetting of the temperature sensor in the app, I am not able to provide the information for warranty through the app. How can I claim warranty for this ?

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the delay. I'd like to help.

Please give these steps a whirl:

Restart your Nest Thermostat.
Remove the battery from the Nest Temperature Sensor for at least 30 seconds, then put it back.
Check if you're logged in to the correct account and can see the sensor in the Nest app.
- If not, change your accounts or unpair and pair the sensor to the correct home structure. If you want to use a new or different account, the sensor continues to show in the old account until removed from that account.
To reset the network settings of the thermostat, go to Settings Reset Network. If the network isn't available, select Account connection instead.
Reconnect your thermostat to the network. If you reset the thermostat's account connection, also reconnect the thermostat to the account.
Run a connection test.
Note: If the sensor doesn't immediately show in the Nest app after you refresh the network connection, try to switch to Spaces view and back to the regular view. In the Nest app, tap Settings Spaces Tap the switch to enable Back Spaces Tap the switch to disable.
To perform a full reset, remove the battery from the sensor for 5 minutes and then put it back.
Unpair and pair the sensor back to the account.

Hi, I tried everything you mentioned but the status is still the same, sensor is not connecting to the thermostat.

Its been almost a month but i have not received a response. Let me know how to move forward on this.
