Thermostat won’t turn on after dying

My best thermostat won’t hold a charge or turn on, even when plugged into a USB. Prior to it dying, the thermostat was reading the wrong temperature. We recently had a new AC system installed.

Is the thermostat's display seated properly? Kindly share here the power info of your Nest Thermostat, go to> settings> Technical Info> Power and share here all the information.
