Hi folks,

Thanks for reaching out. I'd like to help. E294 code meant for R required. It seems like your Nest Thermostat isn't detecting your power wire, electrically and mechanically. Could you please share with us the photo of the wires connected to your thermostat?

Also, try to remove and reconnect your power wire to its terminal. Ensure to turn the power breaker off before touching the wires. Check if your wires are properly stripped and straight.
