Hello Radoo,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community Forum. I'd be happy to take a look at this for you.

Your system is Nest-compatible. However, for the heat-only system, a power problem might occur if overlooked. You might need to have a C-wire installed or a Nest Power Connector to deliver constant power to the thermostat. Also, Nest Thermostats don't use jumper wires, so you no longer need to connect them.

Hi, I did buy a Nest Power Connector and I need to figure how to install it to my Lennox furnace which is heat only furnace.

I am hoping the installation is not difficult

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the update, @Radoo. The photo you shared with us is of the control board. Find the series of labeled terminals on it and install the power connector there.

From the two wires connected to your thermostat (W and RH), connect the other end of it to the Nest Power Connector, and connect the other 3 wires from the Nest Power Connector to your Control Board.

Also, you can follow the instructions in the Installation Guide. Or you can watch this video: How to install the Nest Power Connector.

Many thanks for help, I was able to install it and it works.

As a note, after the wiring part and installing the nest power connector, the thermostat must be reset to factory settings and reconfigured. Mine was showing Cool and no Heat. After reset and choosing the right Hvac system, I had Heat as set up .
