AC turns on but shuts off within a few seconds. Nest gives code 103/Y1

What do I need to do? It worked fine until yesterday.

Hi folks,

Thanks for reaching out. E103 code means that there's too much power that flows through your Nest Thermostat. Overcurrent and overvoltage are two terms that describe similar problems. Overcurrent happens when the amperage traveling through the thermostat base exceeds its design limits (which could be caused by either voltage or resistance), and overvoltage happens when the voltage traveling through the thermostat base exceeds its design limits.

Could you please provide your thermostat's power readings? You can find it under technical info. Also, in what country are you located?

Best,

Jenelyn
