Note, there is a jumper between R an RC

This is solved. I spoke with Google Nest support and they supplied the solution.

Here is the correct wire configuration for the nest thermostat based on the information that you provide us:

C -blue (try it without and if heat and ac work it means it is truly a common, then add it)

Y >yellow
W>white
G>green
R>red
OB>orange
