Nest heating activates without calling

Hi everyone,

Got Nest Gen 3 installed 5 days ago and noticed that it keeps switching heat on when not called for. I have no schedule setup yet and history of heating shows nothing.

Thermostat: gen 3

Schedule: None

In house temp: above 19 C

Thanks for reaching out. A few questions: in what country are you located? Could you please check your Nest Thermostat's Equipment and check for any messages or codes there? Please provide your thermostat's power readings. Also, check if the Auto Schedule is off.

Go to your thermostat Quick View menu.
Go to Settings.
Look for Equipment.

Power readout

Go to your thermostat Quick View menu.
Go to Settings.
Look for Technical Info.
Select Power.

Auto Schedule

Go to your thermostat Quick View menu.
Go to Nest Sense.
Look for Auto Schedule.
