Fan Synchronization scheulde with multiple Nest thermostats

I have four Nest thermostats in four zones. I use the fan schedule to run the fan every hour for 15 minutes on all four thermostats. It looks like the are not running the fan at at the same time which causes some zones to be open and some zones to be closed. Is there a way to synchronize the fan to turn on for all four thermostats at the same time so all flour zones are open when the fan is running? Is it possible that they can all turn on at the beginning of the hour (i.e. 7 AM, 8 AM, 9 AM, etc.) and run for 15 minutes?

Thanks for bringing this up here in the Google Nest community. Let's check this out. Ideally, you can set a daily fan schedule using the Google Home app, and all four Nest Thermostat should be able to follow the schedule set. To set a daily fan schedule, follow the steps below:

Open the Google Home app .
Tap your device's tile.
Tap Settings .
Select Schedules Fan.
Switch Run every day on if you want to set the same fan schedule for all days. Set it to off if you want a unique schedule for a particular day.
Choose a start and end time with From and To.
Set how long you'd like to run your fan per hour. You can choose 15, 30, 45 minutes of run time, or select 60 minutes to run your fan for the whole hour.

I don't see the option for Fan schedule when I select the settings in thermostat tile.

Thanks for the update, we apologize for the confusion. Once you select the settings on the Nest Thermostat tile, you’ll go to the Schedule option first, and then after that, it will show you the fan option.

When I select the settings on the thermostat tile (click the gear icon), there is not an option for schedule.

Thanks for getting back, I want to look deeper into it. Can you send a screenshot of what you can see on the app when you press on the settings?

Also, can you try this using the Nest app? Follow the steps below:

Tap the thermostat you'd like to control from the home screen.
Tap Settings .
Select Fan Schedule.
For Every day, tap the slider to turn your fan schedule on or off.
Set how long you'd like to run your fan per hour. You can choose 15, 30 or 45 minutes of run time, or select 60 minutes to run your fan for the whole hour.
Choose what time you want your fan to start running, and when you'd like your fan to stop running this schedule. If you have a multi-speed fan, you can select a fan speed for your fan schedule.

Hello.

Please see the two images below. One is from the Nest app and one is from the Google home app. I can set up the fan schedule in the Nest app but what I am trying to do is set a fan schedule where four thermostats run the fan at the same exact time. When setting the fan schedule to run on the four thermostats in the Nest app, each thermostat runs the fan at different times every hour. I also cannot see how to attach a screenshot to this post.

For instance, if you have a smart home hub like Google Home, you can set up routines or automation rules that trigger the fan to run at the same time on all four thermostats. This requires connecting your thermostats and hub within the same ecosystem and using the hub's scheduling capabilities to coordinate fan operation.

To attach a screenshot, you can upload the image to an image hosting service Google Drive, and then share the link to the image in your response. That way, I can access the image and try to provide further assistance based on the information provided.

Thank you for the response. So in order to do this, I would need to purchase a Nest Hub (https://store.google.com/product/nest_hub_2nd_gen?hl=en-US&pli=1) and once I have this I can add the thermostats and then create a routine? Hi there,

It's me again. You may buy a Nest Hub to make routines for your Nest Thermostats and you can make routines from the Google Home app without needing a different device. Here's a step-by-step guide to creating routines for your Nest thermostats using the Google Home app:

Make sure your Nest thermostats and Google Home app are ready to go and linked up.
Start the Google Home app on your phone or tablet.
Click on the "+" symbol to make a new routine.
Pick an event to start your routine. This can be a certain time, a voice order, or other situations like when the sun comes up or goes down.
Pick the trigger and then hit "Add action."
Go down and click "Change home devices."
Choose your Nest thermostat(s) from the list of devices.
Choose the temperature or range you want the thermostat set to when the routine starts.
Press "Save" to keep the routine.

When you make the routine, it will start because of the thing that makes it happen. Then, your Nest Thermostat(s) will be changed as needed. If you can't find a way to make schedules from the Google Home app, check that you have the newest version of the app on your phone or tablet. If the problem keeps happening, you can also try taking off and putting back on the app. This helps to make sure you have all the latest parts and works well.
