When turning heating. The. Nest always follows the schedule. I would like to turn this off and allow for manual temp swttings

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the delay. A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? In what country are you located? Disabling smart features like Home/Away Assist, Auto Schedule, and deleting existing

schedules would help.

Please take a look at this guide on how to disable smart features:

Home/Away Assist

Go to the thermostat Quick View menu.
Choose Settings.
Select Home/Away Assist then turn it off.

Auto Schedule

Go to the thermostat Quick View menu.
Look for Nest Sense.
Select Auto Schedule then turn it off.

Manual Schedule

Go to the thermostat Quick View menu.
Choose Settings.
Turn the ring and look for Reset.
Select Schedule.
