Need help with Wiring Carrier Furnace 58CTX

Hello,

I have a interesting situation. My current thermostat is wired for a HVAC system, but in reality all I have is just a furnace. I wouldn't call myself house savvy, but from what I know living in my home for more than couple of years is that there is no separate heat pump or air conditioning. However, the Nest online support is persistent on finding the HVAC model that I don't have 😞

Anyway, I am trying to see if my Nest is compatible with the make/model of furnace that I have. I previously attempted installing but it wouldn't work.

Thanks for reaching out and for the information you've already provided. Based on the wires connected to your thermostat, it is configured as a heat pump with a second stage heating system. I'd like to take a closer look at it. Could you please take a photo of the wires connected to your HVAC system? We'll use it as our basis on how we will wire your Nest Thermostat. Ensure that the labels of the wires are visible. Also, in what country are you located?

I finally fixed this.
Nest was getting confused because my original thermostat had O & B connected. However, my house was just running off a heat furnace and these connections were added just in-case we install a heat pump or air conditioning(which we never did). So, I told Nest not to bother about O/B.
