Have W5 error message - Gone through all troubleshooting options - Spoke to Google nest team via tel no 08081 692307 - Informed W5 error is a recognised fault that requires replacement of thermostat but that it was no issue as still under warranty - Informed can either send back tdefective thermostat and wait for replacement or get replacement and return defective unit but that failure to return old unit could result in being charged - Not heard a **bleep** thing since 20/11/23 - Is this a scam ?

Hi folks,

Thanks for chiming in, @Frustratedddd.

@MDGill, yikes! I'm sorry to hear that your thermostat is showing a W5 error. Which steps have you tried already? And could you send us the case ID from the support team that assisted you previously with this?

I'll look forward to your response.

Best,

Zoe
