Hello kusinerobo,

I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing with your Nest Thermostat. Let's sort this out!

Here are a few suggestions that might help you troubleshoot the situation:

Make sure to charge the thermostat display for an hour.

Inspect that all wires are properly connected and the tabs are pushed down.

Gather the power readings in the Technical Info settings.

Check for any wiring reports or message codes that would help us identify what is causing it to not hold a charge.

Keep me posted.

Regards,
Mark

I was sent a replacement thermostat Nest 3rd gen. The original cannot connect to wifi. Now the new one just keeps shutting down. I have charged the unit as per instructions, but to no avail. Then it told me to attach and then it told me to re attach and nothjing. Then it shuts down again. I tried my old unit, it works just with out wifi.
