When I select the Manage Sensors command for a particular Nest Learning Thermostat on my iPhone 13 Pro, the entire Nest App freezes completely. I first reported this last January (almost a year ago), and many other users said they have the same problem, but it has never been fixed and the thread got locked instead!

What can I do?

Hi normkelly,

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. We'd be happy to take a look into this for you. The Nest Thermostat, Nest app, and your phone software should be updated to keep them synced and prevent them from freezing.

Check for and install the software update on your iPhone.

Go to Settings > General > Software Update.

The screen shows the currently installed version of iOS and whether an update is available.

To update the Nest Learning Thermostat

From the Quick View menu on your thermostat, select the Settings & Nest Settings icon.

Choose Software Update.

For the Nest app, the best way to make sure both applications are up-to-date is to uninstall and reinstall them on your phone. As long as you use the same credentials, all the information, including schedules, will remain.

I look forward to your response.

Cheers,

Renz
