Hi danilovxp,

Yikes! I'm sorry to hear that heating is not working the way it should be with your Nest Thermostat. Let's sort this out. A few questions:

Are you located in North America or Europe?

Is the Nest Thermostat newly installed?

Does the thermostat screen indicate that it’s actively calling for heating?

What type of furnace do you have? (gas, electric, etc.)

When did heating last work?

Did heating ever work with the Nest Thermostat? If not, did the heating work with the previous thermostat?

Did you turn off the power to the HVAC system?

Did you recently turn off any breakers?

Have you recently experienced a brownout or blackout?

Is there a light switch near the heater that controls an outlet?

Did you select the correct fuel type?

Do the LED lights blink on the HVAC control board? If yes, locate the light.

When was the last time you changed the furnace's air filter?

Have you experienced extremely cold weather lately?

Is this the first notable temperature drop of the year in the area?

Also, gather the power readouts of Battery, VOC, VIN, and lIN under Settings > Technical Info > Power of your Nest Learning Thermostat.

Keep us posted.

Best,

Hello everyone!

I have a problem that frequently, it blows cold air, shuts off several times, and then, after a few attempts, starts blowing warm (but not hot) air.

I have already had an HVAC technician inspect it, and they recommended replacing the sequencer, which I did. However, the issue persists. I suspect that there might be an issue with the wiring or other heating system components.

The problem only occurs in heating mode; the cooling function works fine and blows cold air without issues.

HVAC info:

Name: Goodman

Model: GPH1324M41CA

Thermostat info:

Model Display-3.7

Backplate model Backplate-5.26

Updated Nov 20, 2022, 11:55 AM

Software 6.2-27

Battery 3.91 volts

Connection:

Y1 - yellow

G - green

OB - orange

W1 - white

C - blue

Rh - red

Y2 - empty

Rc - empty

W2/AUX - empty

* - empty

I will be happy to provide more info if you need it. Thanks so much for any assistance.
