Next w ancient 2-wire setup, w/Power Connector

I ordered and received a Google Power Connector for my Nest thermostat, but the house wiring only has 2 wires, and the furnace is ancient and does not have a logic board. I ordered a separate 24v Power Adapter which I can attach to the Power Connector, but it's not clear which wires would go where.

Thanks for posting. Some third-party C-wire adapters can cause problems or damage your Nest Thermostat, even if they claim to be Nest compatible. If your HVAC control board doesn't have a C terminal, I recommend you call a pro since a two-wire system is already considered complex. Also, you may use this Pro Installation Guide for an updated installation guideline.
