I see this is common for many people. No help from the people at Google. Both frustrating and disappointing.

@Cees987, thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. We're sorry for any trouble this may have caused you. Let me help you out with this. To turn off ECO mode, follow the steps below:

On the Nest app:

Select the thermostat that you’d like to control on the app's home screen.
Select Eco at the bottom of your screen.
Tap Stop Eco. If you have more than one thermostat, select whether you want to stop Eco Temperature only on the thermostat that you’ve chosen or on all thermostats.

@Nicoleash12, you can do the same.
