My thermostat software stuck on 5.9.5-2 version. I already checked all support suggestions: WiFi signal, battery level, etc...

Any suggestions please?

What makes you think it's stuck on that version, and which version are you looking for, which number?

Could you let me know what region you are from? Depending on your region there will be different software versions available as the US and EU versions of the thermostat are different.

Thanks for confirming. That software version is for the US version only. For the EU region 5.9.5-2 is the latest available one at the moment.

Hi Alex,

I'm jumping in on this because I have the same issue: my software is stuck at the 5.9.5-2 version since March 2022, but I'm in London (and my thermostat says that my software is up-to-date. However, I just bought temperature sensors and I cannot install them because the Nest app is telling me that I need to update my thermostat software first. What should I do? Thanks!

You have the latest software for the UK, which has been mentioned many many times on this forum.
The sensors you have purchased will not work in the UK, as Google will not release the software to allow them to be used,. Again this has been mentioned many times on here.

I suggest you return the sensors for a refund!

I also tried Google, and typed in “google thermostat sensors in uk”
