https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Nest-Thermostats/Gen-2-thermostat-loses-wifi-connection-and-app-goes-offline-intermittently/m-p/576373#M114515 <P>Since just before Xmas, my 2nd Gen thermostat has been intermittently disconnecting then re-connecting to my wifi hub/router and at other times my Nest app shows the thermosts as being Offline, then eventually reconnects itself.</P><P>We've had the heating (which is set up for twice a day in schedule) coming on at random times, and also putting room temp up way above limits set.</P><P>I have rebooted the wifi hub, done restart on the thermostat settings, reconnect to wifi on thermostat, pretty much everything I ca think of, except factory reset the thermostat.
