Hello mmfila,

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Nest Thermostat, and I'm sorry to hear about the frustrations you've been facing. I understand how important it is to have accurate and consistent temperature settings.

In cases like these, it could be helpful to troubleshoot and explore potential solutions.

Consider resetting the thermostat and reconfiguring it with your preferred settings. This can often resolve minor issues and bring the thermostat back to optimal performance.

Verify that the thermostat's sensors are not obstructed and are placed in an optimal location. Obstructions or improper placement can affect the accuracy of temperature readings.

Ensure that your thermostat is properly connected to your Wi-Fi network. Unstable or weak connections might lead to communication issues, causing the thermostat to not function correctly.

Check the Routines and make sure to remove all thermostat actions being created.

Let us know how it goes.

Best regards,
Mark

Google Nest was doing great for a very long time. Now, it seems that it won't keep these idiotic schedules that it sets up that I keep deleting. The desired temperature does not stay set to what I want it to be.

Its annoying. The top number reads 71 while the setting reads 72. Is this thermo garbage or is there a way to fix this?
