Hello arma122,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the issue you're experiencing with your Nest Learning Thermostat in your holiday let. It seems like you've taken several precautions to ensure that guests can't tamper with the settings, yet your regular guest is still able to override the manual settings.

Given the troubleshooting steps you've already taken, it might be beneficial to check if there are any software updates available for your Nest Thermostat. Sometimes, software updates can address bugs or glitches that may be causing unexpected behavior. Also, check the Routines in the Google Home app if you have it, and remove all thermostat actions available. This also triggers an unexpected system activation or temperature mode switch.

I hope this helps and that you can soon enjoy the peace of mind that your thermostat settings are working as intended.

Best regards,
Mark
