Nest learning

Trying to setup my nest app on my note 20 phone but i need the nest key,which i dont know what it is. So how do i get the key?

The instructions are directly in the app ( right underneath the key prompt)

On the thermostat go to settings- nest app and scroll down. The key is there..

Hi folks,

Thanks for reaching out in the Google Nest Community forum. I'd like to help.

Follow the guide below:

Go to your actual Nest Learning Thermostat device.
Go to Settings.
Turn the ring and look for the word Nest app.
Get the Entry Key. (If there's no option for the entry key, and it says "connected to an account" proceed to the next step).
From Settings, look for Reset.
Select Account Connection and follow the prompt.
Once your thermostat is done resetting its Account Connection, connect your thermostat back to the Network.
1. Settings > Network > Connect
Go back to Settings again to get the Entry Key.
1. Settings > Nest App > Entry Key
