Gen 2 Nest thermostat stuck at 5.9.4-5 software

I own a 2nd Gen nest thermostat Model: Display-2.8. It is currently runing 5.9.4-5 from Sept 2019. When I look for an update it says one does not exist. How can I fix this? Also is there a revision list for software for the Gen 2 thermostats?

Thanks for reaching out to us, If your Nest Learning Thermostat 2nd generation is running firmware version 5.9.4-5 from September 2019 and you're unable to find an available update, it is because that the Nest Learning Thermostat 2nd generation were already discontinued and its software can no longer be updated. Currently, the latest version we have for Nest Thermostats are for Nest Thermostat 2020 with version 1.3 and Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd generation and Nest Thermostat E with version 6.2-27.
