After a thunderstorm that I believe has knocked out the power the thermostat has no power. There is power to the wires reaching the base.

Hello RoloDolo,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry. I'd love to help.

It sounds like you may have experienced a power surge during the thunderstorm, which could have affected your thermostat. Are you seeing a wiring report or message code on the thermostat? Is it not powering on? If so, here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

Make sure the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. Sometimes, during a power surge, the circuit breaker may trip, cutting off power to certain areas of the house.

Ensure that the wires are securely connected to the thermostat base. If any wires are loose or damaged, this could be causing the issue.

Try charging the thermostat display for an hour using a micro USB charger.

Let me know how it goes.

Best regards,
Mark
