nest thermostat accidently removed from phone app

My nest thermostat was accidently removed from my phone app, when I try to add it back, it wants me to do a complete set up but the thermostat is working fine itself. I am elderly and don't want to do all the wiring thing again and that is what it is asking me for.

I’m in America. This is not a nest learning thermostat. It is just a regular one but I no longer have the box it came in.

Hi folks,

@Grannathornton, chiming in—if you accidentally removed your thermostat from the app, you can add it back by resetting the thermostat to factory default and following the steps here in add your Nest Thermostat to the Nest app guide.
