Nest thermostat heating issue

We’ve had our nest thermostat installed and working for over 2 years, recently we’ve started to have issues.

The heating will randomly turn on even with the temp turned down or heat turned off.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as we’ve tried everything we can find on the internet.

Thanks for reaching out — I'm sorry for the delay. A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? Do you have a set temperature schedule? In what country are you located? If you have the Nest Learning Thermostat or Nest Thermostat E, please check if the Auto Schedule is enabled.

Check out the guide below:

Go to your thermostat Quick View menu.
Go to Settings.
Look for Nest Sense.
Check for Auto Schedule, ensure that it is disabled.

Also, checking your thermostat's Energy History will tell you what your thermostat was doing previously.
