I bought a new home with Nest thermostats installed, and I am trying to figure out what generation my Nest Thermostat is. I saw a similar post with a different model number. When I look at Technical Info, I see model number "Display-4.8" but I cannot tell the "real" model number from this. When I remove the display, I see TSGD6J under the QR code. Which thermostat do I have and is it the latest generation?

An easy way to find out which generation is to search the net!

Upload a picture, and that will help also.

I imagine you have a blue spirit level on the wall plate, which means you have a 3rd Gen. Does that sound correct?
