AC wont turn keeps saying "starts in...."

My AC keeps turning on and off and the thermostat keeps saying "starts in..." and then it counts down 2 mins. Then it repeats but won't stay on. What can it be?

@Tania-, thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community forum. I'd like to know more about it. A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? In what country are you located? Do you have a C wire? Checking your thermostat's Energy History will tell you what your thermostat was doing previously. Also, gather and share with us your thermostat's power reading.

@Hals0709, has your thermostat reached the 75 temperature after the estimated time?
