    <description>&lt;P&gt;New home, new Nest thermostats. I have two thermostats. When I set up the initial home setting(called it home planet) it connected to the main level thermostat. Then I set up the basement thermostat and it showed up like a thermostat I can control. The mail level is simply connected to the Home Planet icon, but I cannot control the actual thermostat from my phone. It somehow integrated into the title setting of the APP. I attempt to connect mail level thermostat and I get the message it is already connected to the home planet. I scanned QR code and same message that it is already connected. No 7 digit key will show up again it just says it is already connected. I just cannot control the thermostat. Thanks for any help!!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="background-color:transparent;color:rgb(14,16,26);"&gt;First, check the thermostat itself. See if it's connected to Wi-Fi. Restarting the thermostat can also help refresh the connection. You can restart the thermostat by holding the ring for several seconds until it reboots.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
