Nest lost network connection - too far away or hidden

Hi, tonight our 3rd gen Nest learning thermostat suddenly couldn't find the internet. One minute it was working, the next not. Nothing has changed in the house, and the wi-fi is visible to every other device. I have gone through the troubleshooter but still nothing.

It cannot see any wi-fi networks, and it repeatedly gives the too far or hidden message (neither of which is true).

Please help.
