AC Multizone Minisplit Air Con compatibility

Hi there,

I'm looking at some AC minisplits in the UK. I have a nest learning thermostat. I want to know the best minisplit for compatibility with nest.

Would this one be compatiable with nest? Lux Air 5KW Smart Air Conditioning Unit / Heat Pump Inverter System 18000BTU 5.0KW 45m² Area Wi-Fi Alexa & Google Home.

Are there any others you would recommend for the UK market.

Thank you for reaching out to our community.

Sadly, Nest Learning thermostats currently don't work with most mini-split systems in the UK and EU since they use proprietary wiring configurations rather than the traditional wiring central heating systems use.
And even though the unit you want to install might be compatible with Wi-Fi, it likely won't work directly with your Nest Thermostat without any intermediary that can translate the signals between the two.

My recommendation would be to check with the manufacturer before purchasing any mini-split system to confirm it can be integrated with an AC controller to make it compatible with the Nest thermostat.

I'd be interested to hear how it works out.
