auto schedule incorrectly functioning

I have disabled eco, auto schedule and home/away assist. My nest thermostat keeps changing the temperature and when I check the app it says "set by auto schedule".

How can I actually turn this off?

It sounds like there might be a residual setting causing the confusion and making the temperature change. Here are a few steps you can try to completely disable auto-schedule on your Nest Thermostat:

Double-check Auto-Schedule:

Open the Google Nest app and select your Nest thermostat.
Go to Settings > Temperature Preferences.
Under "Auto-Schedule," ensure it's toggled off.

Check Learning:

In some Nest models, there might be a separate learning function. Look for an option called "Learning" or "Nest Sense" and turn it off.
