Nest app not controlling thermostat

Nest thermostat works fine manually. Nest app and Google home show the thermostat. However the apps do not show status or ability to control temperature, mode, schedule, etc.

Thanks for posting and sorry for this situation with the Google App. No worries, help is here! Here are some troubleshooting steps that might solve the issue:

Check if you have any pending updates for the Nest or Google Home App.
Remove the Nest Thermostat from Nest or Google Home App.
Perform a Factory Reset on your Nest Thermostat.
Re-add the thermostat back to the Nest or Google Home App.
