Incompatible with wiring

wondering if it’s true that my nest is incompatible with my wiring or if there’s a way to still make it work.

I can’t figure out how to upload an image to this post but I have O/B, R/C, G, W, Y, R/H, and C hookups on my current thermostat but the only wires that are actually being used at the moment are R/C, G, W, Y, and R/H

Verifying that the O/B wire isn't connected is a key step, as it determines which Nest thermostat will work best for your home. Since you confirmed it's not being used, your system is most likely compatible with the Nest Learning Thermostat specifically.

The Nest Learning Thermostat offers more connection options with its RC and RH terminals.
