Verifying wiring compatibility moving from Cor (Carrier) to Nest Learning

I am unsure of compatibility of the wiring moving form a Cor (Carrier) Thermostat to Nest Learning. After taking off the faceplate, I can see 4 wires plugged into the various codes:

Red into Rh

Green into C

White into W1, and

Blue into Y/Y1.

It's the last that apparently needs verification. If I answer either Y by itself or Y1 by itself, I get a confirmed compatibility, but because the receptor is labeled "Y/Y1" both, the compatibility doesn't confirm.

Please help let me know before I open the package.

It's great you've decided to get a Nest Thermostat. Wire labels sometimes aren't as straightforward as they seem, but let's see what that means.

Wires labeled Y control your home's cooling. If a wire is labeled Y1, it controls the first stage of a cooling cycle and might be used alongside a Y2 wire for the second stage.

Since you have a Y/Y1 labeled wire and a Nest Learning Thermostat, the wire should go into the Y1 terminal.
