Nest thermostat cannot connect to WiFi

My network vendor GONETSPEED had a scheduled outage (not the first time). Now my nest thermostat cannot connect to the WiFi/network. I have gone through all the trouble shooting steps listed on google nest several times. My HVAC vendor spent a good hour and could not resolve the issue either.

it doesn’t see my WiFi network. I’ve tried typing it in with the password and still no luck. I’ve rebooted the router and the nest thermostat multiple times and still no luck. I am not the most technical person but my HVAC vendor went through and could not resolve either.

it still works but my application is disabled - it’s been working fine before the network vendor maintenance outage.

Everything else in my house requiring WiFi works fine.

I just had the same happen last night when I lost power. It boots up, but won't show ANY wifi networks of which there are plenty. I even opened my hotspot and nothing.
