Nest saying thermostat isn’t compatible after the online checker said it was and here are the wires

Y - Yellow

G - Green

C- Blue

O/B - Orange

AUX or W2 - Black

E - White

R- Red

What is making my system not compatible???

Thanks for reaching out to our community.

Nest thermostat compatibility can get tricky sometimes but don't worry let's see what is going on so we you can setup your thermostat properly.

From your wires your thermostat should be a heat pump with auxiliary and emergency heat which should be compatible with a nest learning thermostat.

If you don't have a nest learning thermostat the system won't be compatible as you require more terminals in order to get all of the functions of your system working properly.

Another thing that could make it so your system is not compatible is that your system might be high voltage and nest learning thermostats are not compatible with high voltage.
