Hi, @jeremygg,

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand that seasonal saving notifications can be annoying, and I'm happy to help you find a solution.

To answer your question, yes, you can remove seasonal savings remotely through the Nest app or Google Home app. Here are the steps:

Nest app

Open the Nest app.

Tap your thermostat and select the History.

If Seasonal Savings is active, you will see how many days remain, as well as a Stop button.

Home app

Open the Google Home app.

Tap Favorites or Devices.

Tap your thermostat.

If seasonal savings is active, there will be a notification.

Tap the notification and select Leave program or OK.

Then select Yes, Leave, or Stay.

I control my elderly mother's thermostat remotely. There is a advertisement on the Nest screen and she can't see well enough to remove it. I deleted the message from the phone app, but it's still showing on her thermostat screen. Will the message go away after a certain period of time? I can still adjust the temperature remotely, but she can no longer do so manually. Please tell me that I don't have to travel to her home just to delete a message.

Also, how can I keep this from happening again?
