Hi. I just set up the nest. Removed my old programable thermostat. Filled previous wiring and now my nest is showing heat pump even though I picked gas forced air. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I figured out how to make my systems work and still use all of the dual fuel functions of the nest.

just had to add a 2p2t relay, wire the nest as a 2 stage heat pump with auxiliary oil heat and the mitsu pac 44 interface conventionally. The o/b terminal will toggle heat pump heating or cooling stages accordingly
