Really odd question. We had an older model of Nest in our original home and just moved. Got a new Google Thermostat GA01334-US SNOW and went to the Nest app to add it. Then it said I need to use Google Home.

Here is the rub. Our power company has a program that allows us to let them monitor usage from Nest, so unless I get it connected to the NEST app, I don't qualify.

Suggestions?

There is also no Entry Key in the settings.

Found out the Gen4 NEST is NOT supported by NEST app. Only google home.
