Nest Thermostat Compatibility

Hi, I have some old LG wired remote wall controllers which need to be replace. Is a Nest thermostat compatible with there? They have 3 wires, yellow, black red that go into a little white plug thing that is inserted into CN-REMO. This set up is different to any other information I can fine online or on YouTube. I don’t know if it’s some special LG thing! I need to change them because the little display is so dark I can’t see the settings.
