I am having difficulty getting the presence sensing to work on my nest thermostat.

To effectively troubleshoot, I would like to know the following:

What type of thermostat do you have?
Are you using presence sensing to create Home and Away routines?
Are you trying to set up the presence sensing on the Google Home app or Nest app?
Is your Nest thermostat linked to the same account as the device you're using to manage presence sensing?
Are location services enabled on your device, and are they accurate?
Is your phone connected to the same WiFi network as the thermostat?
