They then <STRONG>told me that they could do nothing</STRONG>, meaning my thermostat could be controlled by someone who does not live here, and I could not override it.&nbsp; They kept telling me I could manually adjust the thermostat, but I am now constantly changing it.&nbsp; I find it odd that if I am physically where the thermostat is, I can do nothing to disassociate an account from it.&nbsp; Google Support advised me to buy a new thermostat.&nbsp; I don't own this place--it's not an option. I am pretty disappointed in how that exchange went.</P><P>I found a thread online that suggested I turn the dial to "settings" and then press in until the thermostat restarts, and then go to settings&gt;reset&gt;account, but "Account" did not magically appear in the menu once I manually restarted.&nbsp;</P><P>Surely, I am not the first person to encounter this.
