@Jacoby , you apparently have a heat-pump and that is why the installer put the brown jumper wire between Y and W. The Nest Learning Thermostat does not need this wire jumper just like you ignore jumper between R and Rc.
Your HVAC system wires ate:

Rc red wire-Power 24VAC

Y/Y1 yellow wire-Compressor relay

G green wire-indoor blower fan

OB white wire-Heat-Pump Changeover valve

C blue wire - Power Common 24VAC

Hi- I’m going to give you the same reply I gave to @Will3478 a few min ago. I edited it to accommodate your photo.

It looks like it. You need to match the wire letters on the old thermostat to the Nest thermostat. Attach each labeled wire to the corresponding letter slot on the Nest.

TIP: AS YOU REMOVE EACH WIRE FROM THE OLD THERMOSTAT, use small sticky labels to label the wires with their letters (e.g., W1, Y1, etc. then take a photo after the old thermostat is removed of the wires with the sticky labels attached. Then insert them into their corresponding letter slot on the Nest Thermostat, removing the sticky labels as you go. It should be that simple. Any wires not used should not be used on the Nest, either.

In your photo, you have wires going into slots for letters O and B (this is a heat pump on the Nest). I believe both these wires should go into the joint slot on the Nest.

YyThere are also YouTube videos you can use to guide you. Your current system does not appear to have complicated stuff like multiple auxiliary units (humidifiers, etc), nor multiple ACs strung together. If you have multiple ACs/heat pumps, it’s far simpler to dedicate a Nest to each and operate on a zone basis in your home. But only if you already have separated thermostats for each system“

PS: Honeywell Thermostats are pretty straightforward conversions to Nest. Even older ones.

The Nest Thermostat compatibility help page directs us here to upload a photo via chat. I'm assuming this is the chat. I have a Vive Thermostat TP-S-855C, with a 16 seer Rheem Electric AC/Gas Furnace with a 2 stage compressor. I got a Nest Thermostat for free from the electric company. Is it compatible? I am trying to upload the image of my current wiring setup, but it will not let me. Mine has wires connected to: C, W/E, W2, RH, G, Y, Y2 and a large, red jumper going from RH to RC. Thank you.

You will need a Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd Generation to support your system. The black wire on the F terminal is usually a Heat Anticipator wire and will not be needed. You need to repurpose the Black wire as your Emergency Heat. This will require you to open the indoor air handler and find the thermostat cable and locate the Black wire, then connect it to the same location the White wire is terminated on.

there is a possibility that your system is compatible. You have only a heating system and as long as that heating system uses a 24 Volt Alternating Current powered control system, you can use a Nest Thermostat. Can you access your Heating system and take a few picture of the furnace system making sure that you can see where the thermostat cable connects to the furnace in a picture?
