Nest 3rd generation schedule setting

Hi, I’ve just moved into a house and the previous owners had nest and left it for me as there’s no manual thermostat in the house.

i believe it’s a 3rd gen learning model. I’m used to Hive whereby you select an on and off time for the schedule, is that the same as nest? Or I want the heating to come on at 5.30 and go off at 7am so do I put both times and temps on the schedule as an on and off time?!?!

To troubleshoot effectively, please answer the following questions:

Is the thermostat connected to your account?
Is the thermostat connected to WI-FI?
Have you already created any schedule?

In the meantime, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

On the Nest thermostat, go to the settings.
Turn the thermostat to the right and look for "Nest Sense".
Select the auto-schedule, turn it off.
Under the setting option, please go to "Reset".
On the reset option, you will find a "Schedule".
Please, reset the schedule.
You can create a new schedule.
