How to determine if Nest Power Connector is working

Just wondering how to determine if the Nest Power Connector is installed and functioning correctly. I had a technician install it and now want to run a check for functionality. Online source indicate to run Settings/Equipment/Power Connector/ Power test but I don’t see that option in my Nest app. Are there other methods to confirm functionality of the Power Connector

Hi Sierreone,

Thanks for posting. I understand that you want to determine the functionality of your Nest Power connector. In this case, you can try the following steps on the Nest thermostat itself:

The status should be “Detected” after the power test.

Make sure your thermostat is set to Off mode.
On your Nest thermostat, select Settings > Equipment.
Select Power Connector > Power Test.
Wait for the power test to finish, and then select Done.
To confirm, select Settings > Equipment > Power Connector > Power Status.
The screen should now read “Nest Power Connector Detected.”
