The online compatibility checker told me to post a photo of my wiring to make sure my unit is compatible and to get a custom wiring diagram but I don’t see a way to upload a photo.

I have the following wires on my existing thermostat:

RC, G, O, Y

Then there are two jumps wires:

- one between W & Y, and

- one between RH & RC

The online compatibility checker told me to forget about the jump wires, is that right in this setup?

FWIW, I’m installing this nest from my old place into a new one and don’t have the printed instructions anymore.

To better assist you, I have some questions for you.

What type of Nest thermostat do you have?
Is your HVAC system dual fuel?

If you were able to share a picture of the wiring, it would be really great.
