Connecting my iPhone to my Nest Thermostat

It used to be I could call NEST and someone would walk me through the steps. I cannot connect my Nest 2nd Gen to my phone so I have NO WAY of controlling the temp inside my home when I’m at work

To contact Support:

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

For the benefit of those who may find this topic, and are looking for setup steps without needing to contact support, I'll include them below.

First check which model of thermostat you have:

Nest Thermostat (2020), Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen)
Setup these models using the Google Home app. The QR code and setup key are physically printed on the back of the thermostat for Nest Thermostat (2020) and will be displayed on screen for Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen). Follow these steps: Get started with your Nest Thermostat - Google Nest Help

Nest Thermostat E, Nest Learning Thermostat (1st, 2nd, 3rd gen)
Setup these models using the Nest app. The QR code and setup key are in the settings on the thermostat itself and are not printed on the device. Follow these steps: Add your Nest thermostat to the Nest app - Google Nest Help
